The name carries the mission.
High John Tech is named for High John the Conqueror — a figure in African American folklore representing resilience, ingenuity, and the ability to overcome systems designed to hold people back.
Today's barriers aren't only physical. They're operational — repetitive work, disconnected software, information overload, constant demands on time. High John Tech exists to help people conquer those modern obstacles, not through magic, but through intelligent technology designed with purpose. The name honors an enduring idea: that ingenuity and resourcefulness create freedom.
I didn't build this from comfort.
There were stretches without a stable place to stay, and stretches where things clicked and I lived somewhere most people only see in photos — sometimes within the same year of each other. I don't lead with the highlight reel, because the low points taught me more than the wins did: how to rebuild fast, how to work with what's actually in front of you, and how to turn a setback into the next system instead of a story you just survive.
That obsession with understanding how things work — programming, automation, cybersecurity, AI, business strategy, sales, design — instead of mastering just one discipline, I learned to connect them. Today that obsession is High John Tech. Every system we build exists for one purpose: to help founders spend less time managing work, and more time building the future they actually want.

I don't start with software. I start with how your business actually works. Then we architect the technology around it.
My journey into architecture began at Michigan State University, studying architectural engineering — a background that gave me a real passion for designing resilient infrastructure, not just software that works until it doesn't. I studied Cybersecurity at Washtenaw Community College and hold a Cisco CCNA credential in secure network configuration. I'm continuing that path toward an ethical hacking credential, training hands-on with Kali Linux and Metasploit.
I'm not new to AI chasing a trend — I've been building and certifying in this space since 2021. Today I work as a CRM & Automation Systems Architect, actively managing GoHighLevel CRM architecture for real client engagements — building the automation, workflows, and integrations that run their day-to-day operations.
